I was lucky enough to be sent this beautiful dress by Lauren from Desire clothing. This dress fits me so perfectly, it pulls in around the waist and helps to create and define curves which for me is rather flattering as I don't have the biggest bum or boobs. The dress is a pretty pastel pink with a hint of lilac and has blue and peach colours as a contrasting floral print. To style this outfit I decided to highlight the blue and peach from the dress by pairing this dress with my turquoise leather jacket and peach bag. I felt the blue of the necklace and jacket stopped the outfit from merging together as the dress and my hair are the same colour pink. 

I love how the dress has a split on the back of the dress paired with the length it is the perfect way to show skin but keep yourself looking classy and elegant. The sweet heart neckline of the dress shows of cleavage as adds a beautiful detail, it compliments your upper body with the tightly fitted dress.

My first outfit post using my baby ( DSLR camera). So this outfit was kind of a spur of the moment as it was a bit windy outside but warm enough to wear a skirt. So this is the very thought process that goes through my head for every outfit I plan, first I would start with a skirt then look at the colours and go through all my clothes in my head to find a match. For example this outfit started as the skirt, a plain black crop top and a black kimono but after remembering my blue and red jumper I paired it with that knowing the reds would go perfectly together to contrast the black and blue from this outfit. The shoes I only wore for the purpose of the outfit post as I loved the whole look once I had tried them on however when I went out in this outfit I wore just black trainers and orange frilly socks. This outfit is more of an autumn look as I am slowly looking at more coats and layers for the season change however feel it is also quite bright so perfect for the in between seasons look.

Two ways to style H&M strapless dress

So today's post is a bit different from the usual holiday style diary posts. I decided after taking these photos almost a week ago now that it was time to change things up so thought today I would to a how to style something post. 

This beautiful light, white crinkled dress is from H&M and has been my cheapest and favourite holiday buy as it was under £5.00 and also doubles as a perfect cover up. For the first outfit I decided to use the strapless dress as a skirt by layering it with my blue gingham bralet from topshop that is a fashion bloggers must buy! It's a pastel blue colour so goes perfectly with the white fabric of the dress also as it's strapless it was easy to hide the top of the dress under the top itself. To style up this outfit I added my netted white kimono, 3D flower bag and glitter Juju's. Overall I thought this outfit worked really well for a pretty girly daytime dress. 

The second way I have styled this item of clothing is to just use it as a dress and style it up with a pretty floral lace kimono and black strappy sandals. The perfect holiday combo.
