Winter Wish List

My Winter Wishlist

Today's post will be a wish list of winter warmers that I have grown to love over the past month. Side note... I am sorry for neglecting you guys I have just had a lot on with graduating from University and getting used to being in full time employment. I hope you like the items I have picked because if I had the money I would buy it all ! But unfortunately I haven't won the lottery.

1. So I am a little ( a lot ) obsessed with Vinyl and when I saw this Vinyl trench coat in Miss Selfridge I fell head over heels in LOVE with it! It's a tad pricey but I know today you can get 50% off the black Vinly coat which makes it an affordable £29.50! However if you LOVE the red like I do then you can only get 30% off which makes it £41.30 which is a bit of a saving but not as much as the black. However if I was to get one it would 100% be the red... My parents would say I had an expensive taste but I really just think the red is such a bold colour and as I have black/grey hair the black Vinyl might make me look even more pale.. if that's possible.

2. I don't know about you guys but I am obsessed with the frilled hem ankle grazer trousers, I currently own a black pair and a yellow tartan pair but these blue tartan ones are perfect for anyone who doesn't want to brave the black and yellow ones. The dark green, red and blue tartan ones will be easier to style whether your looking for a casual outfit or a night out these are perfect for all occasions.

3. SHOCK leather again... I think I am with everyone when I say leather is back with a kick and these leather look coated high waist jeans are the perfect way to transition from your normal black jeans.

4. Last but not least these leather ( yep I told you I am obsessed ) over the knee flat boots from Missguided. These aren't on my wish list anymore as I actually purchased them and can vouch for them. I have thin thighs so even though I love the over the knee boots trend most the boots I have tried on are too big and look silly or two fall down. However because of the stiffness of these boots and the little tie at the back ALLAS I have found over the knee flat boots that flatter my legs.

So that's my first winter wish list but don't worry this won't be a one post every couple of months thing. I will actually be creating new content every Thursday and Friday as I get those days off.

Comment below any blog posts you would like to see .. I will be doing a makeup haul next as I have accumulated quite a few makeup products that are very seasonal and products I think you guys would love.

An Autumn Blush

As we all know the inevitable colder weather is emerging with the skies turning grey to the wind giving us girls a new hairdo. We all love the cigarette trousers with the flared bottoms which are called the Palazzo Pant, so why not bring them with me into the autumn weather. The colour I chose are very autumnal with its peaches, burgundy reds and blacks. The floral lace kimono is a favourite of mine however its a bit too nippy out to just wear a lace kimono so layered it up with my black duster jacket. I actually love how the kimono looks like a scarf as it has now given me an obsession to find the perfect autumn/winter floral scarf. I kept this outfit quite minimalist as I really wanted to accentuate the trousers as they are my key garment I wanted to showcase in this ensemble.

Guest post - Aspire Desire

Hey! I'm Lauren Rebecca and i'm a new fashion/ style blogger. I'm currently an A level student and work in fashion retail as a sale assistant at Jane Norman; my main style influences are Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. Favourite staple: monochrome.

For this look I wanted to layer my new Topshop bralet for work; to do this I went for a velvet crop from H&M which is super cosy and matches perfectly with the textures of the bralet. I wanted the main focus to be the small splashes of white which are in the pleats of the top, outline the pattern in the bottoms and then the shoes.

I think the pleats look super cute and girly against all the black of the outfit, plus the velvet top stood out against the bralet giving the look some diversity. The bottoms are actually the bottom half of a jumpsuit, I tucked the top in to create a loose trouser look which matches the tops.

Anyone that knows me will notice I ALWAYS wear my cut out boots; they're my absolute fave and match with basically anything! They're also currently in the Topshop sale for £25! They add length to your legs but are really comfy, unlike other heels. The chunky platform and block heel makes them easy to walk in and don't hurt your feet.

Autumn Missguided Wishlist

So all I can say is Miss-guided is so on point with all their new autumn/winter stock, here are just a few bits that I am currently lusting after!

Antonina Knitted Funnel Neck Crop Jumper Dark Grey

I love the grey knitted pattern of this jumper, I also love the crop as they look perfect paired with high waisted trousers/skirts and we all know how I love my garments to be highwaisted. A perfect item to help me go from my bright summer clothes to the darker fall wardrobe I so desperately desire.

Miliana Black Rib Knit Crop Top

A key piece for autumn/winter a plain black cropped knitted long sleeved jumper.

Catriona Loop Knit Shrug Cardigan Burgundy

Not only do I love the crimson blood red colour of this shaggy knitted jacket but I also love the texture of the jacket, it would look perfect paired with all black or even my new favourite colour for autumn khaki.

Alanis Faux Leather Asymmetric Zip Skirt Khaki

Everyone loves leather for winter so why not combine three amazing things; the asymmetric hem, leather and khaki to create this beautiful key fall piece. This can be easily dressed up with a sheer crop top or dressed down with knee boots and a chunky knit.

Elania Long Sleeve Ribbed Jersey Crop Top Khaki + matching skirt

Beautiful knitted coordinate.

What was your favourite item from my wishlist?

Floral Kimono Klashing

Outfit Details

Matching Top and Skirt - Newlook
Floral Lace Kimono - Newlook
Shoes - Stolen of my mum

Hey lovely people, todays blog post is late so don't kill me! I have gone through so much this week first I changed my uni course from fashion design to fashion business and promotion. Next I broke up with my four year boyfriend which is now a complete mess as we both don't know what we want. But don't you worry after this weekend there will be more blogposts as I'm going home to see my parents before the run away to ST KITS yes I am beyond jealous! So as you all know or should know I am addicted to the matching co-ord trend we have had this year so why not bring it into autumn ? I decided instead of putting a plain black kimono with this outfit to put a floral lace kimono as the whole ensemble feels more autumnal to me I also love how the miss matched florals work perfectly together.

To change the way I wore it I decided to only do the top button up on the back to leave some skin showing, just enough to keep this look elegant and sophisticated.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Don't forget to comment what you think and if there are any blog
posts you would like me to do ?
Much love

Pink Pastel Princess

Hey guys! so today's blog post is very pink and very girly, you have now been warned. Every winter I search for the perfect pink coat and never find one under £100 that isn't from Topshop. But alas this winter everything changed! I walked into Newlook looking for a maxi long kimono and walked out with this PERFECT pastel pink princess coat! I would say if your tall like me and have long arms go for a size 10 as the arms are a bit longer than the 8 it also has such a lovely fitted shape that the size 10 doesn't drown me.

I generally would wear this outfit out everyday but I know for some people the knee socks might be too much so if that's you then just switch it up for some cream cable knit tights to keep your legs warm. The co-ord has been one of my all time favourite trends this year, especially this floral pink and navy one I purchased from H&M for under £15.00 for both the skirt and long sleeve cropped top. I'm such a Barbie and love wearing pink and floral's together its just the perfect combination with the pastels.
