Tropical Pink Flamingo

Hey guys so for today's blog post I feel a bit like Linda Carter from east-enders .. A pink flamingo without the fluff. Well I guess the earrings count as fluff.. right ?

I really loved how vibrant this outfit was, yeah yeah I know I should be going darker and more autumnal. How can I though when the sun is shining and the days are hot just like summer, I will eventually start transitioning but for now I am liking all these bright neon colours. So for this outfit I paired my beautiful French tropical printed shorts with a plain green cami from Topshop but felt this wasn't enough so looked at the colour that stood out most in the shorts and decided it was pink. Yes before you all think it I have worn A LOT of pink lately but hey what girl hasn't. This jacket is perfect as its cropped so doesn't drown the outfit, it also looks good from the front and back because of the way its fitted. I love this look and would wear it for FRESHERS! obviously without the jacket as I would just die of heat overload.

Tropical Frills - Part 1

Look at that! its sunny in September who would have thought that anyway I have FINALLY got around to blogging this beautiful dress I received from the lovely people at Desire Clothing. The moment this dress arrived through my door I immediately ran into my room to try it on! The fit is perfect not too tight and not too loose, the colours are so vibrant so are more of a spring/summer look then autumn/winter. To keep to the vibrant look and the shape of this dress I paired my neon coral coloured obi belt with this dress as I feel it adds to the silhouette of the dress.

Sky Blue Beach

Hey guys! So for todays blog post I decided to take full advantage of living on an island by having my photos taken at one of my favourite beaches. I was sent this beautiful play-suit by the lovely people at fashion-union. The sky blue colour of the play-suit contrasts really well against the yellow print of the flowers. The thing i love most about this play-suit is how delicate and dainty the sleeves are, they have a keyhole in each shoulder which is the attached to the flow of fabric ending just before the elbow. I am in love with this play-suit lots so THANKYOU FASHION UNION! I decided to keep the outfit simple by adding a very old bag of mine that my dad got me from Italy as it works with the whole boho theme I was going for. I put my favourite wedged sandals on and knotted a belt around the middle to create more depth for my outfit. Last but not least I matched my lipstick to my peach bow head band from Amelia Jane London.

Two ways to style - Maxi Skirt

Two ways to style - Maxi Skirt

Hey guys so as its the BESTIVAL weekend here on the Isle of Wight I thought I would show you how to style one outfit for both the evening and for during the day. My first outfit is simple but perfect for a festival as the off the shoulder bardot top lets your top half see the sun while the maxi skirt keeps you looking elegant. The skirt is more like a long midi skirt on me but it should really be down to the floor, damn my tallness. However I know this outfit might be too covered for some people so for the second way you I did it so you could have your legs and shoulders out.

First Way

Skirt - Internacionale
Top - Topshop
Bag - Accessorize
Shoes - Newlook

Second Way

For the second way I folded over the waist band and pulled the skirt up so it rested on my chest as a strapless dress. I then put a plain black belt around the middle to give me some shape. I really like how versatile this look is as its very pretty and reminds me of a fairy, so perfect for a festival look. I decided to keep the bardot top on but you could either not wear a top or put a strappy vest underneath.
