Guest post - Aspire Desire

Hey! I'm Lauren Rebecca and i'm a new fashion/ style blogger. I'm currently an A level student and work in fashion retail as a sale assistant at Jane Norman; my main style influences are Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. Favourite staple: monochrome.

For this look I wanted to layer my new Topshop bralet for work; to do this I went for a velvet crop from H&M which is super cosy and matches perfectly with the textures of the bralet. I wanted the main focus to be the small splashes of white which are in the pleats of the top, outline the pattern in the bottoms and then the shoes. 

I think the pleats look super cute and girly against all the black of the outfit, plus the velvet top stood out against the bralet giving the look some diversity. The bottoms are actually the bottom half of a jumpsuit, I tucked the top in to create a loose trouser look which matches the tops.

Anyone that knows me will notice I ALWAYS wear my cut out boots; they're my absolute fave and match with basically anything! They're also currently in the Topshop sale for £25! They add length to your legs but are really comfy, unlike other heels. The chunky platform and block heel makes them easy to walk in and don't hurt your feet.

MAJORCA STYLE DIARY - DAY 5

Floral Goddess

So day four of my style diary is a simple look which made me feel like a flower goddess! This kimono is just to die for its so me! the floral lace print with tassels is just an overall winner out of all my kimonos. So 10 out of 10 to New Look ! The dress is a simple bandeau dress from H&M at the savvy price of under £5.00 so perfect for showing of my tan. The dress however is quite see through even with nude/white underwear so would suggest to wear this on holiday by the pool as its the perfect cover up!

Feeling Blue 

So guys how are you liking my style diary so far? Still got come amazing outfit combos to come including my all time favourite colour combo EVER!

Anyway on to my outfit! 

This was an outfit for during the day by the pool and the occasional shopping trip so kept it light and easy to get out of. The kimono is a bright turquoise with a black palm tree print all over it, I paired it with my turquoise skort from primark and a white tee to keep the outfit bight and light. 

My shoes are gorgeous sparkly ju ju's but more or a open toed sandal then the normal clumpy jelly shoes. I really like this outfit as its simple but looks stunning all together.  

The only thing I would say about the shoes is as their flat and have no cushion they hurt your feet if you walk around a lot however perfect for beach and pool as it doesn't matter if they get wet!

MAJORCA STYLE DIARY - DAY 3

Nautical Striped

So this is my third holiday outfit. It was the day we were going to the beach but was a little colder so chose my white and blue striped maxi skirt from Matalan. This skirt as soon as I tried it on I fell in love the fit is so perfect it flares out from the waist and has a thick waistband that you fold over. I mean you could wear it up but it looks better down I think. Anyway on to the outfit details. With my nautical skirt I paired my white off the shoulder bardot top from topshop, which for me has been a  summer staple in my wardrobe. I wore a light blue necklace with it and my favourite black shoes. Overall this is more of an evening outfit but could be dresses down with a denim jacket and crop top.

MAJORCA STYLE DIARY - DAY 2

Hey guys this is gonna be a quick post as I'm meeting people we met on holiday for bowling and nandos! but want to keep up doing a blog post a day! 

So this is day 2 in Majorca, the outfit is from Topshop, Missguided and Newlook. I went through the gingham phase like most did but went a step further to create this outfit which I feel worked really well. I decided to put my favourite Topshop blue gingham bralet with my yellow gingham skirt not thinking they would go well together. BUT to my surprise it worked really well, I dressed it up with my comfy black sandals and white kimono from Newlook which I got in a size M as I wanted it to be quite long. This outfit was one of my more casual evening looks but even wearing the kimono made it too hot!
